About the role:

The D2 Dispensaries is seeking a dedicated Wholesale Fulfillment Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Wholesale Fulfillment Technician will be to prepare all products and orders for wholesale distribution. This role is responsible for picking product for order fulfillment, maintaining wholesale inventory, and assembling and packaging products as needed. This role will also serve as a backup to the Wholesale Delivery Driver position as needed and must maintain the qualifications required to perform delivery duties.

The Wholesale Fulfillment Technician is also responsible for operating equipment and performing tasks such as weighing, packaging, and labeling a variety of marijuana and cannabis products. We are seeking a candidate with a great attitude and who is an excellent team player. You will have the ability to learn and grow within a state-of-the-art cultivation and processing facility. Our Wholesale Fulfillment Technicians perform day-to-day product packaging operations with a primary responsibility over finished product packaging. Every day is a different challenge, and you will be looked at to ensure the highest consistent quality of work. The Packaging and Wholesale Technician is expected to be a team player with a high initiative to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

 

What you need to succeed: The Wholesale Fulfillment Technician will need exemplary organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills to complete the required tasks. Additional required skills include:

 
  • Microsoft Office experience, including familiarity with Excel
  • Detail oriented while maintaining productivity
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods
  • Ability to work in a team or independently, self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse procedures
  • Top-notch reporting abilities
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to change tasks quickly
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs consistently
  • Accuracy with high volumes of numbers
  • Strategic, adaptable, and supportive disposition
  • Above average hand-dexterity
  • Previous experience in a high-volume production facility is preferred but not necessary
  • Cannabis manufacturing/production experience is preferred but not necessary
 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Review invoices as received and pull products for wholesale orders.
  • Stage products in delivery and check orders for accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate log of inventory levels across platforms and data sheets.
  • Create and verify necessary paperwork for deliveries according to Health Department regulations and SOP.
  • Use machinery to fill products, label packaging, or complete assembly of product.
  • Perform quality checks on all product staged for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with SOP.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, production areas, and other surfaces after every shift.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies with appropriate solutions in accordance with SOP.
  • Serve as a backup Wholesale Delivery Driver as operational needs require.
  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with state driving laws and company policies.
  • Execute wholesale deliveries according to established trip plans, routes, and schedules.
  • Accurately count, verify, and document inventory being transported and delivered.
  • Perform quality checks on products prior to delivery.
  • Complete required delivery paperwork and maintain compliance with AZDHS regulations and SOPs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


 

You should also have:

 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 21+ years of age and ability to pass state mandated background check
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license and active insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Personal vehicle in good condition that is free of bumper stickers or other visible affiliations
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Provide exemplary focus and attention to detail while having the ability to routinely sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to learn and understand basic equipment calibration, inspections, and maintenance
  • Ability to move from one task to another with efficiency
  • Ability to work efficiently within the team or independently to carry out assignments
  • Complete assignments within parameters of instructions given
  • Adhere to prescribed routines and standard company practices
  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks with precision, speed, and efficiency
 

Physical Requirements:

  • Operating motor vehicles, machinery, and/or power tools.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion that may include wrists, hands, or fingers.
  • Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds.

(ii) An offense involving conduct that would be immune from arrest, prosecution, or penalty under section 36-2811 except that the conduct occurred before the effective date of this chapter or was prosecuted by an authority other than the state of Arizona
