HR Coordinator
About the role:
The HR Coordinator will assist with almost all HR processes at AB46 Investments. This role will assist other HR personnel with benefits administration, time & attendance, employee relations, and talent acquisition/management. Duties include addressing and resolving employee concerns regarding their benefits and pay, assisting management with documentation, and assisting with the recruiting of staff.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform administrative functions within HRIS and personnel management.
- Inform and train employees on HR procedures and company policies.
- Provide assistance and education on benefits enrollment and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job posting, applicant screening, and phone interviews.
- Assist with onboarding, including initiating all new hire paperwork, uniform requests, and orientation.
- Assist employees with work-related matters and problem-solve concerns in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of all employee documentation, including reviews, corrective action, terminations, and leave requests.
- Maintain all digital and paper personnel files in an organized manner.
- Comply with all state and federal employment regulations and company policies during the recruiting process.
- Comply with health department regulations governing the employment of personnel within cannabis facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to use and maintain office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.
You should also have:
- Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
- Knowledge of Arizona marijuana laws and regulations or willingness to learn.
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of AZDHS, HIPAA, and Arizona state.
- Associate’s degree or higher, preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in Human Resources function or related role, required.
- Experience with HR platforms such as JazzHR and Green Leaf HRIS, preferred.
- HR certification, preferred.
Physical requirements:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Repetitive motion that may include wrists, hands, or fingers.
Hours: Full Time 40 hour/week, open availability, potential overtime opportunity. Starting Wage: $23.00 Hourly

(ii) An offense involving conduct that would be immune from arrest, prosecution, or penalty under section 36-2811 except that the conduct occurred before the effective date of this chapter or was prosecuted by an authority other than the state of Arizona.
